DO YOU SHIP OUTSIDE OF THE UK?
As we are now no longer part of the EU, we have been forced to increase our delivery charges overseas, and we ask that you are patient as delays may occur as parcels now pass through customs.
WHEN WILL I RECEIVE MY ORDER?
We aim to dispatch our orders within 7-10 working days. All wax melts are hand poured and hand decorated, which can cause delays in busy periods.
HOW WILL YOU SEND MY ORDER?
We use a courier service, so your parcel is tracked an protected. This usually takes 3-5 days within the UK.
WHAT IF THERE IS AN ISSUE WITH MY ORDER?
If you are unhappy with an item, please email organisemyukhomeltd@gmail.com . Items can be returned within 14 days of receiving delivery and must be unused and in it's original packaging. The customer is responsible for the postage costs of returning the item. Sadly items that have started to be used cannot be returned.
WHAT ARE WAX MELTS?
Wax melts are scented chunks of wax that release fragrance when heated but the wax does not evaporate. Wax melts are a fabulous alternative to scented candles. Not only are they cheaper but stronger scent release due to being wick-less. If you are new to wax melts they can seem a little daunting but don't worry, The Original Wax Melt Company are here to help you out.
How to use wax melts.
Break off one or two chunks of your wax melt (depends how strong you like your fragrance) and place in either a tealight or electric wax burner. If using a tealight wax burner, place an unscented tealight candle inside and light to release gorgeous scents that fill you home.
If using a tealight burner please only use up to 4 hour tealights as any longer will cause the burner to become dangerously hot and can shatter. Please read your burner's enclosed safety information and follow the instructions for safe use.
Remember to keep burners away from children and pets and do not move the burner whilst lit.
Our products may look good enough to eat but they are not for consumption, please store wax melts safely away from children. All of our wax melts state the allergens on the back of the packaging.
The number one rule of wax safety is never leave a burning candle unattended!
How to change your wax.
One chunk of wax should last between 5 to 10 hours of use. When you can no longer smell the fragrance it is time to replace the wax. Light a tealight so the hardened wax melts. Once wax is in a liquid state soak up with cotton wool pads (be careful of spillages and make sure you have a bin close to hand). Now your burner is ready for a new melt!
